Payment Terms 

 

 

1. Quotation

   • All quotations are valid for 30 days only and may be subject to alteration after that date.

   • The quotation is the best estimate for the work at the time of submission taking into account the existing condition of the item at the time of receipt.

   • Acceptance of the quotation signifies acceptance of our terms and conditions and represents a binding contract between the parties. It should be noted that any subsequent cancellation by the client will involve the client being liable to a cancellation fee and any loss of expenses incurred as a result at the discretion of Britannia Pond Yachts up to a maximum of 50% of the total of the fee proposal.

   • Only the work described in the quotation is included. The supply of any other work or labour costs to carry out such works other than those stated within the quotation is excluded. Any alteration, modification or extras beyond the work specified in the quotation may be liable for an additional cost, which will be agreed upon by both parties prior to being undertaken.

   • No allowance is made in the quotation for any extra work required due to unknown, hidden problems once work commences.

   • Britannia Pond Yachts reserves the right to request the customer to consider increasing the value of the contract should the date for completion of the contract become impossible to attain for reasons wholly or partially beyond its control.

   •  100% of the total fee is required 7 days before any works commence.

         

           

1. Payment

   • The client accepts that he/she will pay Britannia Pond Yachts the full contract sum (all costs incurred) together with any Value Added Tax (if applicable) properly chargeable upon the contract.

   • Payment terms:

   • The client will pay any extra work, or costs due to unknown difficulties or changes, which are not within the quotation. Final parking charges and congestion charges will be added if applicable.

   • Unless otherwise stated, additional payments are due 7 days following receipt of the invoice. If any invoice is not settled within 14 days, Britannia Pond Yachts reserves the right to charge daily interest at 2% until full payment is received.

   • In the event it is necessary to institute legal recovery of any outstanding payments, the client will be liable to pay Britannia Pond Yachts legal fees in full.

   • In the event that a change is required as a result of a subsequent client change of mind, the customer will be solely responsible for payment of all additional costs.

 

1. Cancellation

   • Britannia Pond Yachts reserves the right to stop any working process or cancel the booking due to health or adverse weather conditions.

   • Britannia Pond Yachts reserves the right to refuse, cease or stop any part of the work/service at any time if any of our operative(s) are abused or threatened in any way.

   • All special order material ordered and delivered specifically for any project undertaken cannot be returned by Britannia Pond Yachts to the supplier. 

   • Payment in full will be required for any replacements, for any reason including damage by others in any way.
